Richard (Rickey) Carleton Bolin was born in Kemah, Texas on January 14th, 1950. He was called to his heavenly home on Saturday, June 8th, 2013 at the young age of 63.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Maxine Bolin. Rickey is survived by his wife of 41 years Sheri. His sons, Brent and wife Autumn;Kerry and wife Joyce. Grandchildren Brittany, William, Bobby, Sarah and Trent Bolin;Payton and Justin Martin, Geremiah Roulston, Jade Orr, Lilly and Ethan Casey. Great-grandchild Wyatt Bolin.
Rickey spent his childhood in Kemah, Texas and was a graduate of Clear Creek High School class of 1968. He moved to Santa Fe, Texas in 1976 where he built his home and raised his family. He was a member of the Pipefitters Local Union 211 for 43 years. He loved to hunt and fish and never ran out of projects at the house. As his sons always said; he always had “one more thing to do!”
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 5:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. at Carnes Funeral Home, (exit 15) 3100 Gulf Freeway, Texas City, Texas 77591. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 2:00p.m. at Carnes Funeral Home. Private family internment will follow.
Pallbearers are Tommy Self, Gary Self, Jack Cheek, Mike Cox, Tommy Wade, Fred Davis, Gene Rogers, Fabian Salazar, Jimmy Mauro and Rickey Smith.
